Peace on Father's Day
Yesterday was another calm day. My little one's daddy invited me to come out to hike a trail with them and I was able to take care of everything to join them later in the afternoon. It was nice hiking out in O.C. but the unfortunate thing is that I don't trust my little one's father. There is always something selfish behind his kind gestures. I don't know what was this time and I'm sure it'll come out later but the most important thing is that my little one doesn't see any of the negativity of the divorce. I want her to grow up well adjusted. I spent about 2 hours with them hiking and right before the sun set, we headed home. My little one was very tired. I was surprised that she was able to walk/hike up a steep hill all by herself without my carrying her. I was a proud mama especially since the hill was very steep and I didn't have to piggyback her up. :)

Happy Father's Day!
Today my little one's daddy came to pick her up to spend a day with him. She made him a little frame with stick pictures of Mommy, Daddy & herself. It was really cute. She was very proud of her creation. Her father and I are cordial at this time. He actually invited me out to hike with them later this afternoon. I told him that it was a possibility because I'm training for a run next year and was planning on finding more rigorous courses to practice. At least, not the flat residential streets that I've been training on. :) I have lots of things to catch up on so I'll have to see if I can squeeze this in too.

Another Great Day!
Today was another calm and peaceful day. This is my weekend with my little one; however, since tomorrow's Father's Day, she'll be spending the day with her father. He's been a little less outspoken about his thoughts lately which is good because his comments are usually demeaning. Regardless of his immaturity, I've learned not to let it bother me. My daughter and myself had a wonderful day. We spent most of it with grandma and grandpa and having lunch in L.A. Grandpa took my little one to her favorite restaurant. The one with the Hong Kong style waffles.

Life As It Is
Today's another beautiful day! Nowadays, life is pretty calm and peaceful. My little one is with her father for a few hours and I hope that she's having a wonderful time at the park. Her father and myself do not see eye to eye but the most important thing is the happiness of my little one and not the disagreements between her father and myself. Life goes on and things happen for a reason and usually, sometimes a little later rather than sooner, we see the positiveness of these trials.
